Leave it to Judge Judy to not mince words when it comes to nonsense. When asked about Justin Bieber’s recent behavior in an interview with CBS Los Angeles, the opinionated 71 year old dropped some truth bombs.
“Being a celebrity is a gift. You can either treat it reverently or you can make a fool out of yourself. And he’s doing a very good job of making a fool out of himself.”
Earlier this week Bieber became the first artist ever on VEVO to hit 1 billion views with the video for his 2010 hit ‘Baby.’ But recently he has spent more time in headlines for being an out of control teen than on the charts selling records. His latest concert movie Believe grossed only $6 million (a sobering shortfall from the near $100 million haul of his 2011 movie Never Say Never) and his last album barely made an impression compared to his bucket pee-ing, egg throwing exploits.
“I think it’s sad,” Judy continues, “And nobody’s going to remember that he was a marginal singer. But they’re going to remember a young kid who had a chance to have it all and who is blowing it by acting like a fool.”
And there you have it – judgement for the plaintiff.
